Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HeedForge (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
HeedForge is a personal knowledge base that captures content you add and makes it searchable by you and by AI tools you connect. We may update, improve, or change features over time.
2. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you add to HeedForge. You grant us a limited license to host, process, index, and transmit your content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — including sending relevant content to third-party AI providers to fulfill your requests. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you upload.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or harmful purposes.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to store or process.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider. Free trials, where offered, convert to paid plans only if you choose to subscribe. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (such as AI, payment, and email providers). Your use of those integrations may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated results will be accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HeedForge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
